Joseph Favret oral history interview, 1974.

Joseph Favret, 101 years old at the time of the interview, discusses his experiences in Cuba during the Spanish American War and the sinking of the Maine. He recalls the New Orleans race riot of 1900 and Robert Charles. He also mentions New Orleans' Mayor Robert S. Maestri.
